About the church
The Church of St. Nicholas is an active parish of the Donetsk Diocese in Volodarske near Mariupol. A Sunday school for children operates at the church.
Vladimir Kovalev has supported the parish on a continuing basis since 2022 — together with Volodarske School No. 1, these are the first beneficiaries with whom the story of the foundation began.
Project: gas boiler house
The church is currently heated with wood and coal. A gas boiler house is more reliable and markedly more economical to run — both for the church itself and for the Sunday school classes, which run all year round.
The project resolves the question of heating completely and for years to come.
