“The Nutcracker” at Volodarske School No. 1: costumes made from new fabrics
In December the school received help to buy fabrics for costumes — and the pupils staged a New Year production of “The Nutcracker”.
In December Vladimir Kovalev provided financial support to the state school “Volodarske School No. 1”: the funds went towards buying fabrics to make costumes. Thanks to this support the school’s pupils staged a production of “The Nutcracker”.
Costumes made from new fabrics brought bright colours and magic to the classic story. The performance was a real celebration and gave the audience the atmosphere of a New Year miracle.
“Dear Olga Viktorovna, dear school staff and dear pupils! Thank you for your creativity and for putting together a wonderful production that gave everyone moments of joy and magic. We value your work and the contribution you make to education and culture,” Vladimir Kovalev said in his message to the school.
The project continues
More than 600 pupils. The school’s boiler house has reached the end of its service life — the foundation is running a project to rebuild it, so that the children can learn in the warmth.
