A letter of thanks from the school and documents filed to register the foundation

A working visit to Mariupol: a meeting with the school’s leadership, a letter of thanks from the head teacher — and the filing of documents to register the charitable foundation.

This week Vladimir Kovalev made a working visit to Mariupol. He met the leadership of the school he supports through his charitable work. The head teacher presented him with a letter of thanks for his help — an important recognition of that work.

In the letter, the administration, pupils and staff of the state school “Volodarske School No. 1 named after Hero of the Soviet Union A. D. Yakimenko” express their thanks for his contribution to improving the school — for help in preparing for the heating season and commissioning the modular boiler house, thanks to which the children can learn in comfortable conditions — and for his constant help and support in the upbringing and development of the younger generation.

Since charitable work has become a firm and regular part of daily life, documents to register a charitable foundation were filed on the same day. Once the legal formalities are complete, the foundation will set out its mission, aims and team separately.

Mariupol is gradually being rebuilt, and we are ready to take part in that process — both through charity and through real work on the ground.

The project continues

More than 600 pupils. The school’s boiler house has reached the end of its service life — the foundation is running a project to rebuild it, so that the children can learn in the warmth.
